Learn all about the History of the Donegal Railways with a visit to the Railway Museum in Donegal Town. Watch the working model railways, view over 2000 digitised photos of the railway indexed and viewable on a computer, and there is also a simulator which allows visitors to drive a steam train though Barnesmore Gap!
There are several items of restored County Donegal Railway rolling stock as well as others in the process of being restored. Hot and cold drinks are available. Opening Times 2010:
March - December
Monday - Friday: 10am - 5pm
July - August
Monday - Friday: 10am - 5pm, Saturday/Sunday 2pm - 5pm
